Coal dust, rainbow glints and Polish-German affairs – for one night only, Grupa Mauczka gathers artists from the Ruhrgebiet, Polska and beyond, to dive into the queer mess of Upper Silesia and share their hot takes on the art of śląsking. Through short, dirty performances that sit somewhere between drag, performance art and queer nightlife, they ask what this historical border region was, which leftovers still need to be eaten, and what futures lie beyond national borders and the gender binary.
